Business Focus
After more than eleven weeks of the Catch 2000 challenge (M213), our business units are on their way to achieving true heights! As a reminder, every entity within the group is able to participate into this sales incentive and boost the number of invoiced clients, as well as to increase the temp planning and the number of invoiced placements. Then, among all the business units at the end of October, we can congratulate the Adecco Rumilly branch for the East region, which achieved the best cumulative results since the beginning of September: +33% in client base, +72% in temp planning development. Other branches had proven equally successful: the Adecco PME branch in Dijon achieved +125% in client base and the Paris branch +37%. For the Experts brand, the Mulhouse branch is on top of results (+17% clients). All of these branches are now competing for the prize of Davos for a ski holiday… We will keep you posted!
Catch 2000
Performers at the top!
Every year, the Group shines the spotlight on colleagues who have stood out thanks to their performance as well as their behaviour and values. On October 2 and 3 in Biarritz (southern France), performers therefore gathered together for two days focusing on sales conquest. This 2014 promotion brought all of the Group's brands together with Adecco PME COO Corinne Ripoche as the leading sponsor! The Performers were in particular given the opportunity to participate in a day entirely devoted to the topic of conquest, our sales strategy and our priorities. They also learned of the highlights to come and the missions expected of a Performer, detailed by Carlos Viladrich (HR Director France of the Adecco Group) and Pascale Laurent (University and Training Manager at Adecco France). Another highlight was an opportunity to share experiences and together determine the actions to which our Ambassador Performers would commit themselves this year: every single Performer will inspire the sales and client spirit vital to our performance.

CDI intérimire: a new labour contracr
Open ended contracts for temporary workers (or CDIs) are a major social innovation, and Adecco is aiming to position itself as a forerunner of social change by supporting this new form of labour contract. Since its launch, we have successfully signed 200 contracts all over France. The first CDI contract was signed on October, 8th by our subsidiary Adecco Medical: 'In a particularly tense sector such as Health with an increasing labour shortage, this tool will enable us to give our temporary staff increased security as well as to offer flexibility and availability needed by our clients to ensure high-quality service', explains the Managing Director of Adecco Medical Jérick Develle. Various clients, including Schneider Electric, have chosen to share this adventure with us.
CDI NON OUI!
Thought leadership
Our Group was featured on France's top radio station RTL on Tuesday 30 September. Invited by Marc-Olivier Fogiel, Alain Dehaze and Chaneze discussed the #1job2boss operation and Chaneze's experiences as Alain Dehaze's Executive Assistant. A fantastic interview broadcast on a prime leading media!

Adecco is more committed to employment than ever
18 months ago, the Adecco Group defined three specific commitments regarding employment: our mission is to ensure sustainable employment to integrate young people into working life and incorporate vulnerable people at work. So where are we so far with our objective to place 270,000 people in employment over three years? We had achieved a total of 49.7% of our target with 125,784 people employed. 800 signatory companies are working with us via the 'Chaîne du Oui' campaign. We aim at having 1000 partners by the end of the year. In details, we achieved 36.3% of commitment number one regarding the employment of vulnerable people, 64.6% of commitment number two relating to sustainable employment, and 36% of commitment number three relating to the employment of young people. Operations such as Way to Work, Osons la France or the CSA (Strategic Council for Attractiveness) will also help us to achieve our goals.

The first Lab'Ho
Can we expect to see real sustainable performance for our companies and society if our economic model leaves some of our fellow citizens by the wayside? Obviously not! As part of their social responsibility policies, various companies decided to undertake concrete actions in this particular area. The first collaborative study undertaken by the Adecco Group's Lab'Ho and the SEB Group was published on October,16th and shows why and how the social clauses taken from public sector practices are beginning to emerge into private markets, as well as demonstrating what conditions are necessary for their use to encourage the employment of vulnerable groups.
Success when times are tough
Adecco France and the La Poste Solution Business Group organized jointly a conference in Nantes in September. 250 clients and prospects of Adecco and La Poste joined Adecco employees at this event, tackling topics such as commercial coordination, management and sales efficiency. Under the guidance of Michaël Aguilar, a renowned speaker and the director of a training company specialized in sales efficiency and sales motivation, the event offered clients and employees of Adecco, the opportunity to share and discuss their experiences and leave with a message of confidence, optimism and a positive attitude… even when times are tough! A day devoted to the keys of sales success.

Candidates and Associates

Launched 2 years ago, this program, assessing the professional behaviour at work and professionalism of our temporary workers, meets the high expectations of our clients and temporary staff. Each client is able to evaluate the professional conduct of their temporary staff and the attitudes applied to assignments (punctuality, presence, respect of security regulations etc.) using six objective criteria. For temporary workers, this certification represents a real asset in their search for a job as it boosts the chances of moving quickly from one assignment to the next and progressing more speedily through their professional career. In 2014, a temporary worker with CAP certification worked for an average of 75 hours a month compared with 35 hours for an uncertified temporary worker. For clients, the CAP certification represents an exclusive reference within the profession, offers security in recruitment activities and encourages successful appointments. Our clients also confirmed their interest in our certification method: more than 400,000 CAP questionnaires validated by them enabled us to certify over 26,600 temporary workers, reaching ¼ of the temporary workers assigned every day by the Adecco branches. CAP is one of the service standards that Adecco offers to its clients, a genuine differentiating factor offering improved satisfaction. Furthermore, 93% of the evaluations validated by our clients awarded the maximum score, once again demonstrating the perceived quality of our recruitment activities.

Modis Geek Académie
Modis launched its new communication campaign Geek Académie, aiming at addressing engineers, project leaders, project managers and IT architects as directly as possible. The campaign centres on numerous viral videos showing fake superheroes attempting to use their powers in everyday life, without success. Each video invites internet users to visit the operation's dedicated portal to reveal their own real powers at work. On this website, users take a test to define their profile and character within the Geek Académie. The questions set in the test are designed to create a parallel between their professional skills and the superpowers possessed by icons of geek culture. In the final step, to validate the test and discover their character, the internet users must submit their CV… To support this digital tool, a media buying campaign was launched on October,1st on specialist blogs related to the target audience. This campaign will enable Modis to increase its visibility, boost its prominence and acquire new candidates in a young market with a severe shortage of applicants.
